Back to School

I don’t know about you, but I am not so sure about this years back-to-school season. This last year was rough for us all, and I am hoping for a more normal year.

We will more than likely be coming back to school with masks on. I am trying out the Jelli M1 clear mask. I will let y’all know how that goes.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I don’t feel like I effectively address my students’ language needs as I would like. I have wanted to create thematic units that would address my student’s goals for a really long time. There is a great deal of research on using thematic units for improving language outcomes.

So this summer, I have been working on activities using a thematic approach. I have created Boom Cards, printable language activities, print and go articulation, and more!

You know what, I am not as stressed about therapy planning. I have created activities to work with my kiddos with mild to moderate and moderate to severe disabilities. So when the year is crazy with evaluations, IEP meetings, school meetings, and more, I know I will have my therapy materials planned and ready to go!

I am currently working on a Fall/Spooky Unit, Occupations and Community Unit, and a Holidays and Seasons Unit. I will have more coming out throughout the year.

I have links to some of these activities below so you can check them out. You can follow the links below or go directly to my TPT Site here: Back to School with A Gift of Speech!

Don’t worry about this year.  I have your back…to school supplies!!!
